Mediterranean-Style Compound in Palm Beach

Designed for longtime clients, this compound was inspired by the old-world Mediterranean style of Palm Beach, with a fresh take on tradition for the interiors.

Because every room in the house opens out onto a private courtyard, the spaces needed a thoughtful continuity between indoors and out. Comfortable furnishings in rattan, limestone, and natural woods are paired with upholstery in crystalline blues and natural weaves to balance the intensity of Florida’s bright light.

In the pool house, a treillage ceiling is accentuated by an antique chandelier, giving the space a gazebo-like feel when the wall of doors is fully opened to the outdoors.
