Palm Beach Estate

This grand estate in Palm Beach captures the glamorous, old-world style that the historic homes in the area are best known for. To complement the elaborate architectural details throughout the house, we used a rich color palette and a thoughtful mix of antiques that feel suited to both the property and the owner’s lifestyle.

In the entry, an 18th-century French gilt mirror and antique Venetian lanterns that were turned into sconces brighten the stately coral stone walls.

In the grand living room, which is entered through a wall of highly-detailed marble arches, antique furnishings and Oushak rugs soften the limestone floors and intricately coffered ceilings.

The library’s butternut coffered ceilings inspired bookcases and wall-paneling in the same finish, and are accented by a jaunty blue striped linen-and-silk fabric.
